Emergency Support
While our efforts to provide youth with a safe and caring environment are surely meeting great success, it is impossible to prevent the unforeseen. Therefore, due to the inevitability of emergencies, GCK has reserved funds to help those who find themselves in a desperate situation and need immediate aid. As with any emergency it is with great regret that these funds were used, however we believe that through this small bit of social protection the families were surely spared from worse suffering. During these years Gram Chetna Kendra has supported community foe emergency medical support, food support, farmers were supported during hailstorms, fire and drought .Last year fortunately our area received good rainfall but it was unfortunate for Village Beniyon Ka Bas, Hingonia where there was flood situation. Around 45 families got severely affected. GCK initiated under coordination of local administration and CASA, Udaipur. Affected families were supported with necessary domestic utensils and items and local administration helped in fooding and accommodation.
